# Arcmira

> Search engine for the spoken web that lets people and AI agents search indexed YouTube and podcast transcripts, track mentions, and set up monitors.

Arcmira is an SF-based AI company that describes itself as the search engine for the spoken web. It indexes podcasts and long-form YouTube video so people and AI agents can find who said what, with timestamps and links back to the original moment. Access is through a web chat, an MCP server, a CLI and SDKs, and an HTTP API.

## What It Is

Arcmira is a research and monitoring tool for spoken content. You ask a question in plain words, such as what people are saying about a topic, and it returns transcript passages, mentions of people, companies, products and topics, and links to the source recordings. Coverage is limited to the channels and recordings Arcmira has indexed, so a missing result does not prove something was never said.

## How the Workflow Runs

The site's tour walks through an example datacenter question: the AI searches indexed conversations, surfaces selected moments grouped by theme, compares volume across adjacent 30-day windows, brings in outside sources for context, and produces a shareable brief. The same flow can set up a monitor that sends email, Slack or webhook alerts when a followed topic, company or person comes up. A person can be followed by mentions, appearances, or both. Arcmira also covers sponsor ad reads and organic recommendations.

## Connecting Your AI

The remote MCP server at mcp.arcmira.com exposes four tools: arcmira_describe, arcmira_execute_read, arcmira_execute_write and arcmira_feedback. The AI writes a short JavaScript program against the Arcmira client to resolve names to IDs, search transcripts, check mentions and momentum, and manage monitors. Setup guides cover ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, OpenCode, Hermes Agent, Grok, Gemini and other MCP clients, and a Claude Code plugin adds six skills. Developers can also use the npx arcmira CLI, TypeScript and Python clients, or the JSON API at api.arcmira.com/v1 with bearer API keys.

## Current Status

The web app is labeled Early Beta. Free accounts can monitor a limited number of names and receive instant email alerts, and the newest media is withheld on the free plan.
