# Astron SkillHub

Astron SkillHub is an open-source agent skill registry from iFlytek that lets teams publish, version, search, install, and govern reusable skill packages. It can be self-hosted behind an organization's firewall with Docker Compose or Kubernetes, and a hosted instance runs at skill.xfyun.cn. The code is released under Apache-2.0.

## What It Is

SkillHub is a registry and governance platform for agent skills in the `SKILL.md` format, rather than a collection of skills itself. Users publish a skill package to a namespace, and others find it through full-text search or install it with the CLI. Search can be filtered by namespace, downloads, ratings, and recency, and visibility rules limit what each user sees.

## Governance and Access Control

Skills are organized into team or global namespaces, each with its own members and roles (Owner, Admin, Member). Team admins review skills within their namespace, and platform admins gate promotions to the global scope. Package validation and security scanning support review before publication. Sign-in works through OAuth2 or local accounts, API tokens cover programmatic access, and audit records trace publishing, download, deletion, and authorization actions.

## Publishing, CLI, and Agent Platforms

Packages use semantic versioning with custom tags such as beta and stable, plus automatic latest tracking. The first-party CLI, installed through npm, handles login, search, install, list, and publish. A compatibility layer supports ClawHub-style registry clients for search, inspection, and installation. The README documents setup for OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, DeepSeek Harness, HarnessClaw Engine, AstronClaw, Loomy, and astron-agent.

## Deployment Model

The backend is a Spring Boot (Java 21) service using PostgreSQL and Redis. Skill packages are stored on the local filesystem or in S3-compatible storage such as MinIO. The frontend is built with React 19. Deployment options include a runtime script, Docker Compose, Kubernetes manifests, and a Helm chart, with an optional Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stack.
