# CallMeMCP

/call-me, branded CallMeMCP, is made by Serdar Oztetik (Oztetik Solutions). It lets an AI agent ring your iPhone or Android phone like a normal call, read a question or update aloud, and return your spoken answer to the agent as text. It connects to any MCP client through a hosted server URL, and the repository is MIT licensed.

## What It Is

/call-me is a human-in-the-loop bridge between long-running AI agents and a person's phone. It is not a voice assistant: the agent does the thinking, and /call-me carries the agent's message to the phone and the answer back. The mobile app issues a private 10-digit /call-me number with no email or password, and you give that number to your agent.

## How a Call Works

The agent invokes a call tool with text. The phone rings using the iPhone call screen (CallKit) or a full-screen incoming call on Android, and the text is read aloud. The spoken reply is transcribed and returned as a transcript with a status such as completed, missed, declined, timeout or failed. Calls travel over the internet using LiveKit WebRTC rather than real telephony, and a call can read up to 2,000 characters.

## Tools and Interfaces

The MCP server exposes tools for call, say, hang_up, poll_result, text, wait_for_reply and set_thread_title. A keep_open option holds the line for back-and-forth conversation. The README documents plain HTTP endpoints (/ring and /text) for clients without MCP support. Each agent session gets its own named thread on the phone, and calls and speech support 90+ languages per the README.

## Setup Path

Install the app, add the server URL https://callmemcp.com/mcp to a client such as Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, claude.ai, Gemini CLI, Grok, opencode or Cline, then tell the agent your number. Codex uses a local paired MCP server. Optional plugins exist for Claude Code, DeepSeek Harness, herdr and Omarchy.

## Privacy

The site states that calls are not recorded and only text transcripts are kept. Voice is transcribed live by ElevenLabs, and deleting the number from the app deletes its data.
