# Claudexor

> Local-first control plane that runs Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and other coding agents behind one interface with quota-aware account rotation and cross-model review.

Claudexor is a local-first control plane for AI coding agents, written by Anton Razzhigaev and published under the MIT license. It connects the coding-agent subscriptions a user already has, tracks live quota for supported accounts, and keeps each run in a single auditable thread. The current release listed is v4.7.0, available as a macOS app and as an npm-installed CLI and daemon that also runs on Linux.

## What It Is

Claudexor runs Codex CLI, Claude Code, Cursor CLI, OpenCode, Antigravity CLI and raw API adapters behind one typed interface. Read-only questions resume the vendor's native session, while write turns land as inspectable patches or complete file manifests. Everything runs on the user's machine, files are the source of truth, and the project states it collects no telemetry.

## Quota-aware accounts and rotation

Users register named credential profiles for Claude, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity side by side, each with its own Claudexor-scoped state. Live subscription quota (five-hour and seven-day windows) is tracked for the harnesses that expose a vendor quota source. When rotation is enabled, work moves to another account only on typed vendor-limit signals, never on ordinary network errors or away from an explicit account pin. A bounded continuation packet carries thread context to the next lane, and native vendor-session resume never crosses accounts.

## Modes, races and review

The main modes are ask, plan and agent. Ask can run a bounded multi-scout deep scan. Plan can use a council of several harnesses whose drafts are merged into one plan. Agent supports best-of-N races in isolated candidates with independent reviewers and arbitration, repair loops with attempt caps, and delegation of sub-runs through a scoped MCP belt. Review can use a cross-family panel, and unknown cost is never reported as $0. Protected paths can require a human decision before a change is applied. Each run writes artifacts such as events, patches, reviews and summaries to disk for inspection.

## Setup path and integrations

Install the CLI with npm and run the doctor command, or download the signed macOS app, which bundles its own runtime and updates in place against a signed manifest. The macOS app can also run threads on a remote SSH host. Claudexor exposes CLI JSON output, a local daemon control API, MCP and ACP, and installs host plugins for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode. A portable plugin is available for GitHub Copilot on macOS and Linux. Claudexor also serves as the exact-pinned delegated execution layer inside Ouroboros, according to the project.
