# Coding Wrapped

Coding Wrapped is an open-source Agent Skill by Sen (senlindesign) for Claude Code and Codex. It scans local session history, keeps only safe aggregate metrics, and opens a private dashboard on localhost that tells a story about how you build with AI coding agents. ## What It Is

Coding Wrapped works like a personal year-in-review for AI-assisted coding. Once installed as a skill, you ask your agent to build your Coding Wrapped from local coding history. It reads the standard Claude Code and Codex session folders on your machine and generates a dashboard.

The README says it is not a transcript viewer, productivity score, employee-monitoring tool, or cloud analytics service.

## What It Produces

- A local dashboard showing active days, sessions, projects, model mix, tool use, prompt rhythm, and longest focused run.
- A two-sentence Coding Overview built from representative facts and the working pattern they reveal.
- Four persistent illustrated insights organized as You did / Agent did / Your style, each with one practical suggestion matched against a curated library of 40 official and practitioner-backed practices, with sources attached.
- Up to eight customizable behavior modules, plus a portable local export you can archive or share intentionally.

## Privacy Model

Generated state excludes raw transcripts, source code, project names, file paths, email addresses, URLs, and secrets. The dashboard binds to loopback only, and no cloud account is needed. Illustrations are generated and stored locally.

## Setup Path

Install with a single npx skills command targeting both Claude Code and Codex, through the Claude Code plugin marketplace, or by copying the skill folder manually. Then start a fresh agent conversation and ask it to build your Coding Wrapped; English and Chinese prompts are supported. Later requests can refresh facts, generate new insights, or export the result. Python 3.9+ is the only stated runtime requirement; Node.js is needed only for contributors changing the dashboard UI.
