# Embarko

> Hosting for apps built by AI coding agents, deployed to a live HTTPS URL from a single pasted prompt.

Embarko is a hosting service, currently in beta, for apps that an AI agent has already built. A user pastes one deployment prompt into an agent such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, and the agent deploys the app to a public link on an embarko.app address. A first deploy needs no account and is temporary for 24 hours unless it is claimed.

## What It Is

Embarko hosts apps your AI agent writes, from simple websites and internal tools to agentic applications. It is not just a static file host: it executes the app, so servers, databases and background requests keep working once the link is live. Agents with command access deploy by uploading a tarball to Embarko's deploy endpoint and polling status until the app is live. Claude and ChatGPT can instead use a connector or plugin that deploys from inside the chat.

## How Deployment Works

The agent packages the app, posts it under an app name, and polls status until it is live, failed, crashed or not deployed. It then opens the link to verify the main feature works. To keep an app past 24 hours, the user claims it with an emailed token, or deploys through the connector so it is permanent from the start. Redeploying under the same name replaces the previous version, and each deploy records a version so rollback is possible.

## Running Your App

Data stored under DATA_DIR persists between deploys. Each app has a file store, environment variables set in an App setup tab, schedules defined in embarko.json (up to 5 per app), custom domains, and an optional lock to restrict access. Apps are served over HTTPS with automatically issued certificates and run in isolated environments. The vendor says the underlying infrastructure provider is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and notes this is not a certification of Embarko itself. Documentation is written to be read by agents, with a machine-readable capabilities endpoint, llms.txt and an agent skill.
