# Invofox

Invofox is a document-intelligence platform for engineering teams that need to turn PDFs and images into structured data. Its OCR and AI pipeline identifies document types, extracts fields and validates results against the configured document schema. It supports invoices, receipts, bank statements, payslips, contracts and custom document types.

## From Upload to Structured Data

Create an environment-scoped API key, configure a document type and upload a file. Processing is asynchronous: the upload returns a document identifier, and the completed extraction is delivered through a webhook or retrieved by polling. Results contain structured JSON fields and line items. Documents can also enter through the web dashboard or email forwarding.

## Classification, Parsing and Review

The classifier identifies document types, while the splitter separates files containing multiple documents. Custom schemas define the fields a workflow needs. Corrections can be submitted through the feedback API to improve subsequent extraction. A separate document-parsing capability converts PDFs into Markdown and JSON while preserving tables and reading order for search, RAG and LLM workflows.

## Connecting to Your Workflow

Applications integrate through REST and webhooks. The Zapier integration routes extracted fields into other services, including Google Drive and Google Sheets workflows. A documentation MCP server lets compatible coding agents search the integration reference; it is a documentation tool, not a general document-processing MCP endpoint.

## Deployment and Data Handling

Invofox provides a hosted API and dashboard. The vendor also offers enterprise on-premises or VPC deployment and optional zero-retention processing. Availability and contractual requirements should be confirmed for the intended plan.
