# Kili Technology

> Data labeling and annotation platform for building, curating, and evaluating datasets to train and fine-tune AI/ML models.

Kili Technology provides a collaborative platform for building datasets used to train, fine-tune, and evaluate AI/ML models. Teams label images, video, text, PDFs, audio, and geospatial imagery in one place, with review and quality workflows. The company says the platform went live in July 2020.

## What It Is

Kili is a data annotation and curation platform. Users configure ontologies, annotate data with AI-assisted pre-annotation, and run quality review workflows across many concurrent projects. The site lists modality-specific tools for image (with SAM 2 integration), video, NLP and LLM text (NER, classification, sentiment), OCR and document layout analysis, geospatial imagery, and audio (transcription and diarization).

## Collaboration and Workforce

The collaboration architecture covers role-based access, automatic task distribution, per-annotator performance tracking, and quality gates across projects. For teams that need extra capacity, Kili says it works with partners to source and train annotators and can manage labeling projects fully.

## Security and Deployment

Kili states it is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA certified. It offers project-level data isolation, granular role-based access, and deployment options from managed cloud to air-gapped on-premise. SSO is mentioned in a customer review.
