# Lampline

Lampline is an open-source, self-hosted voice agent platform created and maintained by Rohan Salvi and released under Apache-2.0. It imports agents from Dialogflow CX and CX Agent Studio, or lets you build new ones, and runs them locally or on-prem. It includes a drag-and-drop builder, a test console, and phone support through Twilio, Telnyx or SIP via jambonz. The latest release listed is v0.1.0.

## What It Is

Lampline is a voice-agent builder and runtime built on Pipecat. Scripted pages and LLM steps can be mixed in a single agent, with HTTP and MCP tools, its own records collections and local document search. Each agent is stored as a folder of YAML and Markdown, so it can be reviewed in git.

## Importing and Exporting Google Agents

Export an agent from Google's console, then drop the .zip on New agent → Import. Flows, pages, forms, routes, playbooks and tools carry over, along with a report of items to check before the agent takes calls. Pages become scripted pages and playbooks become LLM steps. Webhooks answer with a mock until connected. Agents can also be exported back as a Dialogflow CX package or a CX Agent Studio app. The conversion runs locally and never runs code from the export.

## Models, Speech and Phone Calls

The README lists 20 model providers, including Claude, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, Gemini, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Groq, Mistral and DeepSeek. Ollama runs open models on your own hardware. Speech can run in the cloud or locally with Whisper and Kokoro. Phone calls work through Twilio, Telnyx, or any SIP trunk, PBX or SBC via jambonz. Contact-center integrations such as Genesys and Avaya are listed as coming soon.

## Setup Path

With Docker Compose v2, clone the repo and run scripts/docker-up.sh, which prints a local address with an access key. The engine can also run natively on Python 3.11+. The `vk` CLI offers lint, conversation tests, templates, Dialogflow imports and exports, and skills for Claude Code. Google Cloud deployment is listed as coming soon.
