## What It Is

Overboard is a desktop scheduler and project dashboard for Claude Code. You write a brief once, using any prompt or slash command from any plugin you use, and choose when it runs: daily, weekly, or every N hours, with an optional daytime window. Each firing is a real Claude Code session in the project folder.

## Scheduled agents and keep-awake

Standing orders such as a 2am security review or a nightly blog post run while you sleep. A keep-awake menu keeps the Mac from sleeping while agents have work to do, and the menu bar shows the next run, the active run's elapsed time, and a keep-awake countdown.

## Remote dispatch from your phone

You message your Overboard bot on Telegram. A dispatcher session picks the right project, creates a one-off task, and runs it in Herdr on your Mac. It replies at each step: received, created, finished.

## Departments and the board

Work is organized into departments, each with its own agents, goals and budget. A captain reviews recent runs, decides what runs next, and creates or edits agents, asking you only when stuck. Videos, images and posts produced by runs attach to the run. A three-pane dashboard shows projects, reports and a Direction panel, and an optional morning report summarizes blockers, decisions and activity across projects.
