# Pairon

> A multiplayer AI coding workspace where teams direct Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode together in one shared room.

Pairon is a multiplayer AI coding workspace for teams using Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode. Teammates direct agents in one shared conversation, keep project context, and review changes across connected computers. The product is run by an individual in India, according to the pricing section of its site.

## What It Is

Pairon puts several people and their coding agents in one shared room instead of separate private chats. A conversation lives inside a project, which is the set of folders agents work in. People are invited as Viewers, Collaborators or Admins: Viewers read along, while Collaborators can send instructions and approve requests. Agents run on each person's own computer through the Pairon runner, and a desktop app is available for Mac and Windows, with a command line option for Linux and servers.

## How a Shared Session Works

Each connected computer and folder forms a lane. Instructions run in order on each lane, several lanes can run at once, and each turn records who it is working for. An agent can propose handing a sub-task to a teammate's lane, and the person who gave the instruction decides. The same instruction can also run on two lanes side by side so the team keeps the preferred answer. Changes from another lane return as a review, where conflicts are settled with Keep mine, Keep theirs, or by asking an agent to combine them. Running apps can be shared through a Cloudflare link.

## Context and Memory

The conversation History records instructions, finished turns and connections, with change summaries instead of file contents. Decisions can be saved to project memory so later agents treat them as settled. Pairon says its benchmark of Codex across three repositories (360 graded runs) found 19-33% lower cost per solved task with project memory, with no significant difference in answer quality. The site's team token and time figures are labelled as simulations, not measurements.

## Security Model

Pairon states that permission rules, secret redaction, approval mode and the pause switch are enforced by the runner on the user's computer rather than by its server. File contents, diffs and terminal output are relayed to the room but not stored, while conversation text is stored. Raising access or allowing a new folder requires the computer owner's confirmation.

## Current Status

The site describes an open beta with account sign-up. The desktop builds are not yet signed with Apple or Microsoft certificates, so a first-run warning is expected. Pairon states it is not aimed at non-coding agents or local-business page work.
