Redis Cloud is a managed in-memory data platform. Users launch clusters and databases from a web console in a few clicks, and the service handles operations. The product page states it goes beyond Redis Open Source with a cluster manager and proxy, faster commands, and higher availability, including 99.999% availability with multi-region Active-Active.

## Data Structures and Query Engine

The vendor says Redis 8 adds eight more data structures, including vector sets and JSON, and 150+ more commands, bringing 483 commands in total. The Redis Query Engine runs full-text, geospatial, vector and hybrid search directly on Redis data. Redis Flex indexes data across RAM and SSD to hold more data at lower cost.
