## What It Is

The four status values — `editing`, `ready`, `partial`, `done` — form a clear contract between the human reviewer and the AI agent.

## Terminal-Native Design

reslop is built entirely for the terminal with no runtime dependencies. Key design choices include:

- **Intra-line highlighting**: Stronger red/green paint on the exact tokens that differ, not the whole line, so a one-character edit is immediately visible.
- **Three layout modes**: Unified, mixed, and side-by-side, cycled with `m`.
- **Block-level actions**: Each contiguous hunk can be staged (`a`), unstaged (`u`), dropped to HEAD (`d`), or committed (`c`) directly from the review interface.
- **Clipboard support**: OSC 52 drag-to-copy with fallback to `wl-copy`, `xclip`, or `xsel`.
- Works on Linux, macOS, and Windows (Windows Terminal required on Windows).

## Scope Beyond Git Diffs

Beyond local uncommitted changes, reslop can review a specific commit by SHA, open a GitHub PR or GitLab MR by URL (importing review comments into the local plan), and inspect npm dependencies — proposing unused removals, audit fixes, and outdated updates as diffs. This makes it useful not just for AI-generated code review but for general dependency hygiene workflows driven by an agent.
