# Shipcel

> Deploys websites and apps into your own Cloudflare account with no infrastructure code, via Git, CLI, drag-and-drop or AI agents.

Shipcel is a control panel and CLI that deploys websites and apps into the user's own Cloudflare account without infrastructure code. It is currently in alpha, and the project states that Shipcel itself is free as a launch offer, with the only bill coming from Cloudflare.

## What It Is

Shipcel builds an app, sets up the Cloudflare resources it needs, and checks each deploy. Workers, builds, databases, storage, domains, secrets, sign-in and realtime are created and connected in the user's account. Per the site, apps keep running in that account if Shipcel is no longer used.

## Ways to Deploy

- Connect a GitHub repository so every push deploys and each pull request gets a preview address.
- Run `shipcel` in a project from the terminal, including in CI with a token.
- Drag a built folder into the dashboard.
- Connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent to Shipcel's MCP server. Shipcel runs no model of its own.

## Data, Auth and Operations

The platform covers D1 SQL databases, R2 file storage and KV data, with migrations, exports and point-in-time restore. Postgres or MySQL can be connected through Hyperdrive. Users can add sign-in (passkeys, GitHub, Google, email) and realtime channels. Operations features include health checks after every deploy, one-click rollback, traffic splitting, analytics and logs, and team roles. Supported frameworks include Next.js, Astro, SvelteKit, React, Vue, Hono and static sites, plus Python Workers and Docker containers.

## Budget Guard

Shipcel estimates each app's monthly cost beyond Cloudflare's included usage every five minutes. It sends alerts at 50% and 80% of the budget and when an app is projected to exceed it or goes over. Optionally it pauses the app. Free-only mode, on by default, avoids creating anything that can be billed.

## Current Status

The project is labeled alpha. Deploys from GitHub, the terminal and drag-and-drop have gone to real Cloudflare accounts, and some parts rely on Cloudflare betas. The repository's license is listed as to be chosen before an open-source release.
