Zoom AI Services is an API platform for capturing and processing conversations. The Scribe API turns recorded or live audio into speaker-aware text. The Translator API handles text such as chat messages and emails. The Text Summarization API converts transcripts or other text into structured summaries, action items, and titles using custom or preset templates. The current portal marks text-to-speech, interpreter, enterprise search, and clinical notes as preview. It also lists Voice Agent, Speech Summarization, and Decisions APIs; availability and billing vary by API.

## How It Is Used Inside Zoom

Zoom states that its own products use these APIs. ZoomMate uses Scribe, Summarization, and Translation. Zoom Virtual Agent uses Voice Agent, Speech Translation, and Text-to-Speech. Meeting Summary and Smart Recording uses Scribe and Summarization. Zoom Contact Center uses Speech Translation and Text-to-Speech. ## Security and Deployment

Zoom states that data is protected with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit, and that it is SOC 2 Type II audited. APIs are deployed in the cloud with global edge delivery, with an on-premises option for data residency requirements. Premier Developer Support is available for enterprise customers.
