10XU Inc.
Workers IO builds deterministic simulation environments for verifying mission-critical software. Its platform runs systems through production-like scenarios, faults, timings, and interleavings to find failures, reproduce them exactly, and verify fixes before release.

Products & Services
A managed or privately deployed simulation-testing platform for critical software workflows. It runs deterministic simulations across production-like timing, dependency, network, retry, crash, and service-behavior scenarios; returns checks and verdicts; and makes failures replayable with traces and artifacts.
An open-source coding-agent skill and plugin package that helps agents discover high-value tests, select testing strategies, write and review tests, generate realistic seeded workloads, and audit suite health. It provides scan, test, workload, review, and doctor modes and is packaged for Codex and Claude Code, with core Markdown adaptable to other agents.
Market Position
Workers IO positions itself as a reliability and software-verification platform focused on deterministic simulation rather than conventional example-based tests alone. Its differentiators are reproducible seeded execution, production-like fault injection, virtual time, replayable failure bundles, and direct coding-agent workflows; it competes for the broader space occupied by distributed-systems testing, chaos/resilience testing, fuzzing, workload generation, and AI coding-agent test tooling.

Founders
Chaitanya Choudhary
Founder and CEO. Y Combinator describes him as previously associated with Grit and OnDeck, with research at Harvard Law; his Workers IO blog bio identifies him as the founder writing about software testing.

Founding Story
Chaitanya Choudhary says he spent much of his engineering career debugging software failures and wanted to address the gap between clean test environments and the complex, failure-prone conditions of production. Workers IO was started around the idea of deterministic virtual machines and simulation-based testing that can explore millions of realistic scenarios, make failures replayable, and help coding agents ship ambitious changes without sacrificing reliability.
Business Model
Revenue Model
Monthly subscription for managed simulation infrastructure, with usage-based overage charged by actual simulation runtime hours; enterprise customers can purchase custom annual contracts for dedicated/private deployment and support.
Pricing Tiers
Managed cloud plan with 2,500 included simulation hours, capacity for 60 runs, unlimited users and repositories, Slack and email support, designed fault models and service mocks, and coding-agent autofix workflows. Extra usage is $3.60 per simulation hour.
Custom runtime, dedicated capacity, on-prem deployment, custom SLA, and a Forward Deployed Engineer; includes Professional features.
