Founding Story
Applitools was founded in 2013 by Gil Sever, Adam Carmi, and Moshe Milman in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a mission to bring intelligence, speed, and accuracy to software testing. The founders created the first cloud-based software testing tool that automatically validates visual aspects of web and mobile applications using AI. They pioneered the Application Visual Management (AVM) category and Visual AI technology that mimics the human eye and brain to identify visual regressions while handling dynamic content.
