Known for weekly short-form videos on YouTube (@bholmesdev) explaining topics like React Server Components, HTMX, and SQLite. Web programmer since before npm, bringing design sensibility into developer tooling, and works across Rust and JavaScript.
Founding Story
Ben started as a web programmer with a design background and built Slinkity, an open-source meta-framework for 11ty sites. That project led him to join the Astro core team full time, where his love of design turned into a love of making development easier. He later moved to Warp as DevEx lead, and continues to publish educational whiteboard videos while building his own products on the side.
