Founding Story
CoChat Inc. was established in February 2026 to commercialize and provide a secure, collaborative enterprise layer for OpenClaw, an open-source autonomous assistant that achieved massive viral success on GitHub (reaching over 100,000 stars in its first two weeks). The company was founded in partnership with Open Core Ventures (OCV), the venture firm of GitLab co-founder Sid Sijbrandij, to bridge the gap between solo-developer open-source tools and enterprise-ready team collaboration.
