CoreWeave was founded in 2017 by Michael Intrator, Brian Venturo, and Brannin McBee. Originally starting as an Ethereum mining operation, the company leveraged its expertise in massive GPU clusters to pivot into a specialized cloud provider for AI, ML, and VFX rendering.
