Products & Services
Chat-based async check-ins, standups, retrospectives, surveys, kudos, forms, reports, and workflow automation for distributed teams.
Second-generation chat assistant and automation product for team collaboration and async work.
People-and-agent coordination platform with agent check-ins, automatic standup population, proactive insights, agent identities and email, blocker routing, no-code automations, public API, CLI, and agent fleet visibility.
Open-source command-line interface for people, scripts, and AI agents to send updates, run check-ins, use chat, manage forms, and operate workflows from a terminal or CI environment.
Market Position
Dailybot positions itself as a chat-native coordination and intelligence layer rather than another project-management dashboard: its wedge is async standups and check-ins, while its broader differentiation is combining AI summaries, no-code workflows, and visibility into both human and AI-agent work. Its stated alternatives and competitive context include Slack and Microsoft Teams' native capabilities, project-management systems such as Jira and Linear, and other async standup and team-collaboration tools; Dailybot differentiates through cross-platform chat support, agent infrastructure, and integrated human/agent reporting.

Founding Story
Mauricio Morales and Sergio Florez started the prototype at a Rocka.co internal hackathon in 2017 to solve their own problem: too much time spent on manual check-ins, standups, and repetitive Slack administration. They initially focused on async standups and check-ins for remote teams, then expanded toward workflows, reports, recognition, and eventually a coordination layer for people and AI agents. After two rejected YC applications, the company was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2021 batch.
