DatologyAI
DatologyAI is a frontier data research lab and data refinery for AI model builders. It curates public, proprietary, and licensed data—cleaning, calibrating, generating synthetic data, and composing training datasets—so AI teams can train high-performing models faster, at lower compute cost, and retain control in their own cloud environment.

Products & Services
Guided, configurable enterprise data-curation product with presets and automation. Its four-stage pipeline cleans and decontaminates data, calibrates for quality/task/taxonomy and redundancy, creates grounded synthetic data, and composes staged datasets for pre-training, mid-training, and annealing. Runs in the customer’s VPC/private cloud so data stays in the customer environment; initial release supports LLM web, math, code, and multilingual data.
Automated data curation as a service for petabyte-scale public, proprietary, and licensed data across text, images, video, audio, tabular, genomic, geospatial, and other modalities; deployed on-premises or in a customer VPC.
Open-source data-loading system for foundation-model training, designed for high throughput and elastic determinism across stateful pipelines, parallelism, worker counts, GPU counts, and checkpoint/resume.
Datology Labs project for automating data research.
Market Position
DatologyAI positions itself as a frontier data-curation layer and compute multiplier rather than a model API or generic data-labeling vendor. It differentiates through research-driven, end-to-end curation (clean, calibrate, create, compose), petabyte/trillion-token scale, customer-controlled private-cloud deployment, and task-specific optimization. Relevant alternatives include internal curation teams and tooling, data-processing/data-loader stacks such as NVIDIA NeMo Curator and MosaicML/Databricks data tooling, and other synthetic-data or training-data platforms.

Founding Story
The founders started Datology because they believed that carefully curating data, aligning it to specific tasks, and generating synthetic data grounded in high-quality organic content was the most impactful lever for improving model performance. The initial vision was to make the data side of AI easy, efficient, and automatic, democratizing frontier data research so companies could train custom models on their own data without building a massive specialist team.
Business Model
Revenue Model
Enterprise data-curation software/service sold to AI model-development teams; deployed in the customer’s private cloud/VPC or on-premises, with the customer bringing its own data and infrastructure. Public pricing is not listed; the company directs prospects to contact its data experts.
