Epsilla was founded in 2023 by a team of engineering leaders from TigerGraph and Meta. Participating in the Y Combinator S23 batch, the company initially focused on a high-performance open-source vector database to address the retrieval challenges of LLMs. Recognizing the broader need for end-to-end AI autonomy, it evolved into an all-in-one Agent-as-a-Service platform.
