Products & Services
A local-first endpoint-security product that evaluates supported coding-agent tool calls before execution. It can allow, ask for approval, redact, make an action safe, block it, or record it; decisions and evidence are stored locally.
A repository and application security platform that reasons across code, dependencies, secrets, endpoints, runtime behavior, and business logic to identify connected exploit paths, generate reviewable source fixes, and scan every new commit.
Market Position
Harden positions AIF as an independent, local-first agent-endpoint security control rather than an MCP gateway, sandbox, or ordinary scanner. AI Scanner differentiates from legacy SAST/SCA products by connecting code, identity, dependencies, runtime behavior, and business logic into reachable exploit paths and producing reviewable fixes; relevant comparison categories include Snyk, Semgrep, and GitHub Advanced Security/CodeQL.

Founding Story
Harden was started to provide an independent security and control layer for autonomous coding agents and AI-built software. The founders' stated premise is that frontier-model providers and developers are incentivized to complete tasks quickly, while a separate cybersecurity company is needed to evaluate tool calls, enforce policy, and prevent unsafe actions or insecure applications from reaching production.
Business Model
Revenue Model
AIF uses a freemium model for individual developers and a custom enterprise offering. AI Scanner offers free, Pro per-user, and custom Enterprise/BYOC plans; enterprise revenue comes from paid software subscriptions/deployments, support, compliance, and deployment requirements.
Pricing Tiers
For individual developers; core local pre-execution secret-flow blocking, supported agents, block-and-steer, local decision store/audit view, no account required, and telemetry opt-out.
Compliance reporting, air-gap/zero-telemetry mode, MDM installation, support SLAs, and custom terms.
2 users, 5 connected repositories, 20 full scans/month, 25 auto-remediations/month, weekly re-scans/manual scans, and community support.
100 repositories, 500 pooled scans/month, 1,000 auto-remediations/month, every-commit CI scanning, Jira/Linear sync, reports, and priority support.
BYOC in AWS, Azure, or GCP; customer-perimeter deployment, custom limits, SSO, SCIM, RBAC, audit-log export, compliance evidence, dedicated capacity, and SLA support.
