Market Position
Hebbia positions itself as a purpose-built, enterprise-grade AI platform for high-stakes finance and professional-services work rather than a general chatbot or basic document search tool. Its differentiation is multi-agent reasoning across very large document sets, spreadsheet-like structured analysis, source-level traceability, firm-specific workflows and integrations with proprietary and licensed financial data. Comparable categories and competitors include enterprise search and knowledge platforms, financial-research terminals and AI research products such as AlphaSense, Bloomberg, Tegus, Sentieo, Glean, Harvey and general-purpose LLM research tools.

Board of Directors
Founding Story
George Sivulka started Hebbia in 2020 while at Stanford after observing that highly capable people in finance were doing repetitive, low-value work across thousands of documents. He initially set out to build a highly intelligent, secure search engine that could index and reason over organizational knowledge; the vision evolved into an AI product layer and institutional-intelligence platform for complex professional work.
Business Model
Revenue Model
Enterprise software sold through demo-led contracts to institutions; revenue is subscription/platform access and enterprise deployment, with additional value from integrated licensed data and workflow capabilities.
