Imbue
Imbue builds AI systems that can reason and code to accomplish large goals in the real world, creating tools to empower humans in the age of AI. The company aims to create 'truly personal computers' that give users freedom, dignity, and agency.
Founding Story
Founded in 2021 as Generally Intelligent, the company was created to build AI systems that can reason and robustly accomplish real-world tasks. The founders aimed to create truly personal computing tools that empower individuals with freedom and agency, rather than subordinating humans to AI systems. They rebranded to Imbue in September 2023 to better reflect their focus on imbuing computers with intelligence and human values.
