Instill AI was founded by Ping-Lin Chang and Xiaofei Du in 2020 to address the challenges of working with unstructured data in modern AI workflows. In 2022, Instill AI raised $3.6 million in seed funding led by RTP Global to further develop their Versatile Data Pipeline (VDP) platform.
