Products & Services
A platform and managed service for turning recurring enterprise communications into personalized video. It assembles approved scenes using customer data and business rules, delivers through email, web, portals or apps, and measures viewing and clicks per recipient. Customers can hire Lont to build journeys or bring their own team or agency.
A viewer-paced Lont player with chapters, an early key line, adaptive navigation and telemetry for watched, skipped, revisited and clicked sections. It opens in a browser from a personalized email preview without an app or download.
An MIT-licensed open-source caption system. Its .overtone.json format stores each spoken word once with timing, speaker and semantic classes plus cuts for multiple screen shapes; the project includes overtone-format, the videojs-overtone plugin with style packs, and the overtone-captions CLI for transcription, recutting SRT/WebVTT, burn-in and exports.
Market Position
Lont positions itself between text-only operational communication, traditional one-size-fits-all video and generic AI video tools. Its differentiation is programmable, data-generated video for recurring customer journeys, deterministic rendering from approved scenes and rules, built-in delivery and measurement, and support for regulated enterprise communication. The company's own comparison pages explicitly frame Idomoo, SundaySky, Synthesia and HeyGen as comparison alternatives.

Founding Story
The founders saw that enterprises send important recurring messages as text because their systems can produce text automatically, while video remained handmade and difficult to personalize at scale. Lont was started in 2023 to make video behave like software: connect to enterprise systems, apply customer-controlled rules, generate a personal version for each recipient, and measure the result per viewer.
