Manifestack
Manifestack is a free, MIT-licensed, read-only skill and CLI for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and other coding agents. It helps developers choose a technology stack, audit an existing stack for limits, costs, outages, overlaps and data/compliance rules, and keep those decisions current using vendors' public pages.

Products & Services
An MIT-licensed, zero-dependency Node.js package installed with npx manifestack. It provides init for new projects, audit for existing projects, compare for vendor choices, and an optional guard/hook that flags newly added vendor SDKs. It runs locally, needs no account or API keys, reads dependency/config files and environment-variable names, and writes only .manifestack/STACK.md and temporary working files.
Market Position
Manifestack positions itself as a stack-aware, current-data layer inside coding agents rather than a generic chatbot or static technology recommendation: it reads the actual repository, checks live vendor pages, models cost and limits against the team's workload, flags overlaps and compliance gaps, and preserves decisions for future changes. Its practical alternatives are asking a general-purpose coding agent for architecture advice or manually researching vendor pricing and limits.
Leadership
Founders
Dmitrii Mingalev
GitHub identifies Mingalev as a blockchain developer. He is the copyright holder named in Manifestack's MIT license and the author of the project's commits and releases under the dminglv account.
Founding Story
Manifestack was started around the idea that selecting a stack is easier than keeping it correct as a product grows: agents can add services, plans can hit quotas, bills can grow, and data-region or compliance requirements can be missed. Its initial vision was an open-source, local, read-only agent skill that reads a project's dependencies and requirements, checks current vendor pages, reports what will break first and records decisions in .manifestack/STACK.md.
Business Model
Revenue Model
Free, open-source software distributed through GitHub and npm; the project states there is no paid tier, account or Manifestack server to pay for.
Pricing Tiers
The website and README describe Manifestack as free, with no paid tier and no account required.
