Originally from Vienna, Austria; moved to the UK to study and obtained an MSc from the University of Oxford. Previously worked at willhaben.at, Austria's largest classified-ads portal. He has been self-employed since 2012 and has created software products including fman, fbs, and Helium.
Founding Story
Herrmann says he has been self-employed since 2012. His projects grew from practical software needs: BugFree Software developed GUI test and automation tools, Helium grew out of that business, and fbs was extracted from the packaging and deployment work needed to ship his cross-platform file manager fman. He later focused on online businesses and automatic-update consulting.
