Founding Story
Mintlify was started by Cornell graduates Han Wang and Hahnbee Lee in 2022. As developers, they struggled with sparse and inaccurate documentation. Initially starting as a weekend project, they began fixing documentation for their fellow YC batchmates, leading to the realization that software documentation was a major bottleneck in the developer experience. Their vision is to create 'living knowledge systems' that integrate with the development workflow.
