Founding Story
monday.com was founded in 2012 as daPulse, an internal tool developed at Wix.com to solve communication and transparency issues as the company scaled. Roy Mann and Eran Zinman experienced firsthand the challenges that come with quickly scaling organizations and decided to spin off the tool as an independent startup in 2012, with Wix as its first customer and supporter. The company officially launched commercially in 2014 from a vacated apartment in Tel Aviv with its first six customers, and rebranded from daPulse to monday.com in November 2017.
