Founding Story
Nimbalyst was founded in 2024 by the team behind Evergage, which Salesforce acquired in 2020. The founders—Karl Wirth, Greg Hinkle, Jordan Bentley, and Q—built Nimbalyst to enable users to work more effectively with Claude Code through visual editing and session management. The team leveraged their experience building enterprise SaaS products and personalization platforms to create a tool that makes AI coding more accessible and transparent.

Founders
Karl Wirth
Karl Wirth is CEO and co-founder of Nimbalyst (November 2024). Previously, he was CEO and co-founder of Evergage (2010-2020), which was acquired by Salesforce. At Salesforce, he served as GM Personalization and Senior Vice President of Product Management (2020-2022). He was also Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Treasure Data (2023-2024). Earlier roles include General Manager at Red Hat (2007-2010), and leadership positions at Sentillion and RSA Security.
Greg Hinkle
Greg Hinkle is CTO and co-founder of Nimbalyst (February 2024). He was previously CTO and co-founder of Evergage (2010-2020), which was acquired by Salesforce. At Salesforce, he served as Vice President of Software Engineering (2020-2024). Prior experience includes Manager of Engineering at Red Hat (2006-2010) and Architect at JBoss (2005-2006).
Jordan Bentley
Jordan Bentley is co-founder of Nimbalyst (September 2024). He is a data scientist and machine learning expert, author of Crystal, and Kaggle Competition Gold medalist. Previously, he was Principal Data Scientist at Salesforce (2021-2024) and Staff Data Scientist (2020-2021). He also worked as Senior Data Scientist at Evergage (2018-2020) before the Salesforce acquisition. Earlier roles include data scientist positions at Divert, Outcome Referrals, and software engineering at AER Inc and Fidelity Investments.
