Founding Story
PromptBase was founded by Ben Stokes after he encountered significant challenges and costs while trying to engineer effective prompts for GPT-3 for his other venture, Paper Website. He realized there was a market need for tested, reliable prompts that could produce predictable results from AI systems. Rather than continue spending significant amounts of money on trial and error, he created a marketplace where prompt engineers could monetize their expertise and users could purchase battle-tested prompts.
