Products & Services
Managed ingestion, parsing, chunking, indexing, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and APIs for building AI applications over private data.
Agentic OCR and document parsing that extracts structured elements such as tables, forms, charts, key-value pairs, entities, metadata, and bounding boxes from documents.
Fully managed, embeddable connectors that let an application's customers securely connect and manage their own data sources, with automatic syncing, webhooks, page limits, white labeling, and enterprise-scale throughput.
Retrieval with reasoning that decomposes questions, selects search strategies, dynamically plans, evaluates results, and uses feedback loops.
Market Position
Ragie positions itself as a developer-first, fully managed context engine/RAG-as-a-service layer rather than a framework developers must assemble themselves. Its differentiation is an integrated pipeline spanning multimodal parsing, structured extraction, three-index retrieval, reranking, managed connectors, agentic retrieval, and a context-aware MCP server; comparable alternatives include Pinecone Assistant, LlamaCloud, Vectara, Unstructured, LlamaIndex, and LangChain/Pinecone stacks.

Founding Story
Bob Remeika and Mohammed Rafiq began writing Ragie's code on April 1, 2024 after discussing a recurring problem they saw in the market: companies had valuable data, but getting it into AI systems reliably, securely, and usefully was too difficult. Rafiq's consulting work exposed repeated demand for the same infrastructure, while Remeika was interested in connectivity and data-to-AI workflows.
