    Founding Story

    Adit Abraham and Raunak Chowdhuri met while students at MIT. Reducto started as a weekend hack to solve the frustrations of extracting accurate data from complex PDFs for use with Large Language Models (LLMs). They realized existing OCR and parsing solutions weren't designed for the semantic needs of AI, leading them to create a layout-aware parsing engine.
