Founding Story
Repaint was founded in 2023, initially entering Y Combinator as AutoEmber, a drag-and-drop website builder inspired by Figma. After realizing that manual builders were becoming obsolete with the rise of AI, the founders pivoted to a conversational AI-first approach. They leveraged their experience in web layout and editor UX to build an 'agent' that interviews users and generates full websites in minutes.
