Founding Story
The three founders met in high school and college, sharing a passion for technology and open source. They participated in various hackathons, including nwHacks 2023 where they received an Honourable Mention. They initially created AgentGPT, a general-purpose AI agent tool that went viral on GitHub with over 100,000 daily users in one week. This success earned them a spot in Y Combinator's Summer 2023 cohort. After analyzing queries from millions of users and conducting 20+ daily customer calls, they pivoted from general AI agents to specialized web scraping, where they saw the most demand. The founders moved from Canada to San Francisco to start the company and be near the center of the AI industry.
