Leadership
Founders
Bill Yang
Solo founder and indie hacker who previously built Tomato.gg, a gaming statistics site receiving about 1.5 million visits per month. He says that experience created the need for more capable web analytics and motivated him to build Rybbit.
Executive Team
Bill Yang
Founder
Indie hacker and builder of Tomato.gg, a high-traffic gaming statistics site; he personally built and operates Rybbit.
Founding Story
Bill Yang says he built Rybbit after finding existing analytics products either too basic or too complicated and enterprise-oriented for his high-traffic gaming statistics site. He began work in January 2025, spent about 110 days building it, and chose an open-source, self-hostable distribution model to make the product easier to adopt and share.
