Products & Services
Cross-domain REST data API for AI agents and decision platforms. It normalizes data from primary sources into a consistent LLM-ready JSON envelope with data, metadata, source timestamps and semantic unit types.
Hosted MCP gateway and sugra-api-mcp package that expose the catalog as agent tools for searching endpoints, describing calls, resolving entities and executing requests; works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and MCP clients.
Conversational API helper in development that finds the right endpoint and source, resolves entities and produces copy-ready calls over Sugra API MCP.
Custom software development and technology consulting, including web applications, API development, fintech solutions, AI integration, telecom solutions, financial-services technology and GIS solutions.
Market Position
Sugra positions itself as a cross-domain alternative to narrow, single-domain data APIs and expensive institutional terminals: one key and one normalized, LLM-ready envelope across finance, macroeconomics, physical-world, internet and news data. Its differentiators are broad primary-source coverage, automatic failover, provenance metadata, MCP-native access and no feature gating by domain. Competitors include single-domain financial-data providers, weather and news APIs, macro-data APIs, and developer platforms that require multiple integrations.

Founding Story
The idea was born in 2019 from the belief that professional teams had better proprietary data feeds, terminals and analytics than the broader market. In 2020 the mission became making institutional-grade data and AI accessible to everyone; the company says it began building with OpenAI through Microsoft for Startups before the current generative-AI boom, and incorporated in Delaware in September 2021.
