Founding Story
The founders met at Georgia Tech and entered the CREATE-X Startup Launch program in 2023. They originally developed an AI shopping assistant called Tabnam. Through the program's customer-discovery process and testing, they realized the technology had more potential in software development and pivoted to create Greptile. They began at a hackathon in SoMa, San Francisco, secured paying customers within a week, and reached 100 users before joining Y Combinator Winter 2024 cohort.
