Products & Services
Conversational AI synthetic-data platform that generates realistic relational databases, unstructured datasets, documents, and mock APIs from scratch; includes the Fabricate Data Agent, automated workflows, exports, and API/MCP capabilities.
Structured and semi-structured test-data management platform for de-identification, subsetting, masking, synthesis, sensitive-data discovery, and referential-integrity-preserving datasets.
Unstructured-data redaction and synthesis platform for free text, documents, audio, support tickets, clinical notes, chat logs, and other files used in AI training, analytics, and regulated workflows.
Market Position
Tonic.ai positions itself as a comprehensive privacy-first synthetic-data platform spanning structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, rather than only a database masking or generic LLM tool. Its differentiation is high-fidelity, relationship-preserving transformation and generation, enterprise governance, deployment flexibility, and dedicated workflows for testing, AI training, and regulated data. Its competitive set includes Synthesized.io, DataCebo/SDV, Gretel, Mostly AI, Hazy, Delphix, Informatica, and generic LLM-based data-generation tools.

Board of Directors
Founding Story
Tonic.ai was started because its founders had repeatedly experienced the difficulty developers face obtaining safe, high-fidelity data for development and testing. The initial vision was to remove that data bottleneck through realistic structured-data de-identification and synthesis, while protecting individual privacy and preserving data utility.
