Treeverse
Treeverse (lakeFS) provides open-source data version control that brings Git-like operations to large-scale data lakes, enabling data teams to manage data with the same rigor as code.
Founding Story
Founded by Einat Orr and Oz Katz who worked together at SimilarWeb. They experienced the pain of data engineering at scale and realized that data lakes lacked the versioning and safety features common in software development (Git). They created lakeFS to allow branching, merging, and rolling back data in object storage.
