Market Position
Typewise positions itself between conventional chatbots/deflection tools and manual support operations: it resolves requests and takes actions across a company's stack, while retaining human approval and auditability. It competes with customer-service AI and helpdesk platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce Service Cloud, Freshdesk, Genesys and Talkdesk, differentiating around end-to-end resolution, multi-agent orchestration, MCP connectivity, multilingual operation and a self-improving AI Operator.

Founding Story
Typewise began as a privacy-focused keyboard and text-prediction project: the founders wanted people to type faster and with fewer errors, using an optimized hexagonal layout and on-device/privacy-oriented AI. After the keyboard attracted more than 2 million downloads, the company recognized that the larger economic opportunity was B2B productivity—especially customer service and sales—where small writing-efficiency gains matter, and it pivoted toward business software and then end-to-end customer-service automation.
