Founding Story
Eren Bali built a live virtual classroom prototype in Turkey in 2007. After moving to Silicon Valley, he co-founded Udemy in 2010 with Gagan Biyani and Oktay Caglar. The trio was rejected by dozens of investors before finally securing seed funding to launch their marketplace model.
