Founding Story
Uizard started as a machine learning research project called pix2code in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, created by Tony Beltramelli. The company fully formed in early 2018 after the founders took a trip to San Francisco and held a hacking session in a Mountain View garage. The vision was to use AI and machine learning to democratize design, enabling non-designers to create digital prototypes and UI designs without coding or design skills.
