Founding Story
Uizard started as a machine learning research project called pix2code in 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark, created by Tony Beltramelli. The company fully formed in early 2018 after the founders took a trip to San Francisco and held a hacking session in a Mountain View garage. The vision was to use AI and machine learning to democratize design, enabling non-designers to create digital prototypes and UI designs without coding or design skills.

Co-founder and CEO. Previously worked as an engineer and conducted machine learning research. Studied computer science and product design at IT University of Copenhagen and ETH Zurich. Created the pix2code research project that became the foundation for Uizard. Now serves as Head of Product for AI at Miro following the acquisition.
Henrik Haugbølle
