Daniel Lenton started 'Ivy' as an open-source framework during his PhD at Imperial College London to solve the fragmentation of machine learning frameworks. He founded Unify in 2022 to build a platform for unified model deployment and benchmarking, eventually expanding into virtual AI employees.
