Executive Team
John 'Jack' Woods
Co-Founder & CEO
Electrical engineering background at the University of Michigan; co-founded Wave RF to solve connectivity and telemetry challenges.
Eric Andrechek
Co-Founder & CTO
Computer Science and Engineering background at the University of Michigan; lead architect of the WaveHouse data layer.
Founding Story
Wave RF was started by Eric Andrechek and a group of University of Michigan students in fall 2023. They identified communication reliability issues at the Big House (stadium) and later worked on a weather balloon project that highlighted the difficulty of real-time telemetry. This led to the creation of a multi-modal connectivity solution and the WaveHouse data layer.
