Founding Story
After spending two years building Gen-AI prototypes and products, Simon Farshid realized all software would soon require natural language interfaces. Seeking a high-quality UX similar to ChatGPT for his own apps and finding no adequate market solutions, he created assistant-ui. He has wanted to build a developer tool company since high school and created assistant-ui after needing a ChatGPT-like interface for a previous app project.
