Products & Services
Hosted AI agent for companies. It connects accounts, compiles work into personal and company wikis, reads that context before acting, and uses a dedicated browser and terminal to complete tasks; it can pause for logins, payments, or decisions and hand the live browser to a user.
Open-source CLI and shared knowledge layer for engineering teams and coding agents. It installs into a repository and maintains a living wiki from the team's work, with access for agents such as Claude Code and Codex.
Market Position
Almanac positions itself between enterprise knowledge/search products such as Glean and Notion AI, workflow/assistant products such as Moveworks and Dust, and coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. Its differentiator is combining a continuously compiled company wiki with an always-on agent that has its own browser and terminal, can act across accounts rather than only answer questions, and can expose the same context to teammates and coding agents.

Founding Story
The founders say they grew up together in India and met 11 years ago while preparing for the JEE. After building AI-native wikis for Harvard and NASA and attempting a wiki for the whole internet, they concluded that AI agents need a compiled context layer shaped like a wiki. They started Almanac after finding it painful to build an agent with company-wide context themselves, including hosting it, creating OAuth connectors, manually supplying context, and maintaining memory.
